SYSTEM ENHANCER STRATEGY

Normally, systems require you to periodically test a systems against historical data to keep the program in sync with current market conditions.

By its very nature this approach, like any program using historical data, is a lagging indicator and can effect the potential system performance.

The System Enhancer Strategy or Parallel Function Based Strategy Analysis allows the graphic analysis of dynamic intraday system performance as the market day progresses allowing the user to switch the real time trading system to the optimum parameters at any time.

VALUE CHART SYSTEM

Recent alterations in TradeStation regarding look inside bar backtesting and intrabar order generation are have raised significant issues with the backtesting results and the time required to perform reasonable tests.

The Value Chart System is programmed such that these problems are greatly reduced if not eliminated making testing significantly more efficient and accurate.

As with all systems, all of the familiar exit routines such as scale out targeting, equity out, day stop, position 2 trail, dynamic stop movement and breakeven stops are included with the Value Chart strategy.

Additionally the System Enhancer Strategy discussed above is available for the Value Chart strategy as well.
